Last weekend, Dana was really into going kayaking. I was unsure, after I had FAILED miserable at canoeing while in Lake George, New York. Gabby and I finally decided to take her up on the offer. Little did we know, we were about to have an AMAZING time. We started at Jack’s Boathouse, where we rented kayaks from. We then were given an hour of renting time. Dana said we should try to make it down to the monuments, something she always wanted to do. I was really nervous. I do not know how to swim, and God forbid the kayak flipped, I would have been done for. So we headed to the Monuments. I actually really enjoyed just going through the water and spending a lot of time with my friends. It gave us an hour to really catch up and just talk about all the random things going on in our lives. Before we knew it, we had made it to the Lincoln Memorial in less then twenty minutes! We were all so proud of ourselves, and seeing the Memorial was beautiful. I definitely will be going back soon!
